Many of you know that kabuki is a traditional Japanese dance-drama, but did any of you know that there's a 4-member rock band called Kabuki Rock? �Formed 21 years ago, Kabuki Rock features the members performing in full-out kabuki makeup and costumes.

While their music isn't actually kabuki music, they do feature many themes from kabuki in their songs. On February 23rd, Kabuki Rock held a launch event in Shibuya for their new single,�"Meguri Ai Night".

"Meguri Ai Night" is a fusion of rock and pop ballad, and vocalist�Ujigami Ichiban said the song was "their way of challenging J-pop".
