Actress Omasa Aya is going to become the fourth host for the well-known variety show, "Kiseki Taiken! Unbelievable", that airs every Thursday at 8 PM on Fuji TV.

Popular announcer Kobayashi Mao used to be the female host on the show from 2007, but she is expecting her first child in July, so she had to leave the show in order to prepare for her delivery and her new, even more demanding job as a mother.

Omasa's first appearance on the show will be at a 2-hour-long special that is about to air on April 14th. The topic of the special episode will revolve around�"people that climbed over great obstacles", and is supposed to work as an encouragement for the victims of the Great Tohoku Kanto Earthquake, who are undoubtedly facing the biggest obstacle of their lives right now.

The producer's statement about Omasa was glowing: "We are at the edge of a new start and a fresh face like Omasa fits just perfect. She has infinite potential."

Omasa's comment about the big new opportunity showed her excitement, "Unbelievable! I'd like to give it my all as usual!", and she also gave her�thoughts on the special first episode, "During the recording, I have once again learned that no matter what obstacles might appear in front of us, we do have the strength to climb over them. I hope that we will be able to send out our messages full of love and encouragement to everyone through this show."
