On June 3rd, rock band Anzen Chitai announced through their official site that they would be postponing the release of their upcoming album. "Anzen Chitai XII" was scheduled to drop on June 22nd, but the band decided to release a single featuring one of the album's tracks instead. Titled "Kekkai", it's planned for an August 24th release.
The band's agency and recording company, Universal Music, issued a joint apology for the delay. "We want everyone to fully enjoy the album, so it's still in the middle of production. Each day is spent refining the songs more and more. We would like to ask for a little more time to finish the album."
The disappointing news was softened by the band's second announcement, which revealed the dates for their "Anzen Chitai Concert Tour 2011 Den'en~Kekkai". Beginning September 17th in the city of Minamiashigara, Kanagawa, the tour will cover 23 cities and 28 shows. In addition, the band is planning to cover some of vocalist Tamaki Koji's solo work as part of their performance.
