The cast of "Marumo no Okite" surprised child actors Suzuki Fuku and Ashida Mana with a birthday party on the 18th!

The small celebration was held on set the day after Suzuki's seventh birthday, but since Ashida will turn seven on June 23nd, both of them were presented with their own individual birthday cakes. Suzuki's features an onigiri motif, while Ashida Mana's is a pink heart. The staff and cast also sang "happy birthday" together when the two blew out the candles on their cakes.

"Being six was fun, but I hope being seven will be even more fun!" said birthday boy Suzuki Fuku. His on-stage twin Ashida also smiled while commenting, "I was so happy that they wished us happy birthday! I wanna try my best until filming for the drama is over!"

Other cast members who celebrated birthday during the filming of "Marumo no Okite" include Ibu Masatou (March 28th), Abe Sadawo (April 23rd), Tonooka Erika (June 11th), Chiba Masako (May 16th), and Higa Manami (June 14th).
