Among the 15 finalists, Osaka representative Kamiyama Maria (24) was chosen as Miss Universe Japan 2011!

In her final speech, she shared her experience as a volunteer for the Great Tohoku Earthquake. With ambition, she stated, �Japan is such a wonderful country. I want to show that to the world.�

The runner-ups were Nozu Hibiki and Tanaka Michiko.

Kamiyama will represent Japan in Miss Universe 2011 on September 12th�in Brazil.
