Actress Taketomi Seika (16) has been picked up for the leading role� in Fuji TV�s new drama, �Tonari no Akuma-chan ~MIZU to Mizonokuchi~�, which will air on July 16th.

The series is a comedy about an apprentice demon who's wreaking havoc in the mortal world in order to become a full-fledged demon.Taketomi plays the cute demon-in-training, Mizu, who has the power to stop time and play lots of tricks. As a huge fan of the �Harry Potter� series, Taketomi expressed her excitement with her new role by saying:� �I�ve always wanted to play a wizard, so I�m really happy about this�.

In January, Taketomi made her acting debut and only a half year later has snatched a lead role, �I�m going to work my hardest so that I don�t have any regrets, so I hope a lot of people watch�.
