tokyohive previously reported about how TOKIO leader Joshima Shigeru was on a �drunk date� with a beautiful woman in late July. On August 14th, Joshima made his first public appearance since that news report for a sign and handshake event� for "Kokoro no nichiyoubi Ganbaruhitoe", his maiden work of collected poems.

Speaking on the woman he had the date with, he emphasized once again that she is just one of his friends. "Many people�saw that news, I have to be careful about my comments. Otherwise, TOKIO members will get mad at me again," he said.

Joshima added "Regarding my love life, I'm still seeking. I'm looking for (a specific woman to settle down with), so I'm on the market. If I find a specific woman, I'll inform all right."

According to Joshima, he had a desire for marriage since his twenties. Speaking with an embarrassed smile, he said, "I always commented that I�won't get married before Higashiyama Noriyuki does, but I can't use that phrase any more. I hope I can give happy news, but this is fate... I'll do my best (for marriage). I said to� Matsuoka Masahiro that we are late to get married."
