Actress Yuka has been chosen to play the lead role in NHK's upcoming drama, "Honjitsu wa Taian Nari"! This will be her first time in 11 years since she played a lead role in a drama series.

Yuka expressed, "It has a good tempo that's wrapped in a mystery, and the characters are all fascinating. I'm getting excited just by reading the script. I will be happy if many women can relate to it. This will be my first drama series in my 30's, but I will do my best to deliver the excitement to everyone!"

"Honjitsu wa Taian Nari" is said to be a combination of suspense, comedy, and romance. Yuka will play 'Takako', a wedding planner who has to manage five weddings on a lucky day. On the morning of the wedding, she receives a threatening letter that says, "Cancel all weddings today. Or else, you will be punished." While trying to search for the culprit, Takako makes efforts to hold the five weddings without delay. Gradually, the outrageous secrets of the bride, groom, and their families are revealed.

Other cast members include Asano Yuko, Ishiguro Ken, Kurokawa Tomoka, Tanimura Mitsuki, Hoshino Mari, Tanaka Naoki, Okada Yoshinori, Shiraishi Miho, Kato Seishiro, and Daichi Yasuo.

The drama will air every Tuesday nights at 10:55 starting January 10th, 2012, with a total of 10 episodes.
