Idol group Fairies has been chosen as the face of the Omotesando Illumination, marking their first time as an image character.

From December 2nd until December 30th, 124 Fairies flags will be strung for one kilometer amongst trees with nearly 650,000 LED lights. Through the walkways there will also be two screens which will show the girls and play their music.

Fairies has also decided to release their new song �HERO/Sweet Jewel� on December 21st. Member Ito Momoka (13) commented, �It�s a privilege to be the image character of a lovely place that makes people happy�.
