Back in May, we reported that famed director Miike Takashi was going to bring CAPCOM's popular video game franchise, "Gyakuten Saiban" (international title: "Ace Attorney"), to the big screen in the form of a live-action adaptation of the first game in the series. Recently, its official website was updated with a second teaser and a second full trailer.

Filled with numerous special effects to enhance the visuals, this courtroom thriller takes place in an alternate universe, where an increase in heinous crimes has forced Japanese attorneys and prosecutors to confront each other in a new court system that gives the accused only three days to prove their innocence. In this system, speed is favored over hard evidence and forensic science, forcing both the defense and the prosecution to do much of their own hurried investigation before time runs out.

"Gyakuten Saiban" has Narimiya Hiroki starring as the protagonist, 'Naruhodo Ryuichi' (or 'Phoenix Wright') and Saito Takumi as his rival, prosecutor 'Mitsurugi Reiji' (or 'Miles Edgeworth'). Moreover, we get to see Kiritani Mirei as 'Ayasato Mayoi' (or 'Maya Fey') and many more characters from the video game.

The trailer also features the film's theme song "2012 Spark" by Porno Graffitti.
