Four-member girl rock band NEGOTO will be providing the popular anime "Mobile Suit Gundam AGE" with its opening theme song!

The song is titled "sharp #", and will air as the opening theme for the anime every Sunday at 5:00 PM. The band's first single "Charon" had previously been used as the CM song for au's "LISMO!" campaign, and their collaboration with a popular anime such as Gundam suggests that NEGOTO might be on its way up in terms of popularity.

The band has also announced that in April, they will be holding a "student-only" tour in addition to a Tokyo/Osaka tour in May. The student-only tour will feature four performances beginning with a performance at the Tokyo Hachioki RIPS (April 6th) and ending with a concert at the Hokkaido cubegarde (April 21st). The Tokyo/Osaka tour includes a total of three concerts: a May 3rd performance at the Osaka BIG CAT, a May 4th performance at the Aichi CLUB DIAMOND HALL, and a May 12th performance at the SHIBUYA-AX in Tokyo.
