On January 15th, AKB48's official "rival group" Nogizaka46 revealed their own version of the classic AKB hit, "Aitakatta" (Nogizaka46 version is titled as "Aitakatta kamo shirenai").
The girls performed a rock-and-roll version of "Aitakatta" on their show, 'Nogizaka tte Doko?'. Since Nogizaka46 are being put on a level of direct rivalry with AKB48, they juxtaposed that by delivering an edgier twist to the bubbly song.
