Emoto's father is actor Emoto Akira, and his mother is actress Tsunogae Kazue. Ando is the daughter of actor Okuda Eiji, and essayist Ando Kazu, thus this is a marriage between two celebrity families. �Reportedly, the couple met 4 years ago at "Akita Jumonji Cinema Festival", and they dated for 3 years.
