SMAP will be releasing their 51st single "Shareotsu / Hello" on December 18. 

"Shareotsu" is currently being used as the theme song for Kusanagi Tsuyoshi's starring drama 'Dokushin Kizoku'. The lyrics were written by 6-member Ossan's vocalist, keyboardist, and guitarist Otake Osaku. It's described as a pop song that will uplift you just by listening to it. 

Meanwhile, "Hello" was written as the official song for Hello Kitty's 40th anniversary. It's reported to be a ballad written and composed by Ozaki Sekaikan of creephyp.

The single will be released in 3 different types: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, and Regular Edition. Limited Edition A will come with a video clip DVD for "Shareotsu", while Limited Edition B will come with a video clip DVD for "Hello". Furthermore, the first press Regular Edition will include a photo book featuring photos from the fashion show '2013 AUTUMN WINTER COLLECTION: SHARE-OTSU'.

There will also be a campaign for those who purchase all 3 types of the single. Those who win will receive prizes such as an invitation to an event, Hello Kitty 40th anniversary goods, and a DVD containing the making-of footage for the single.
