Former AKB48's Akimoto Sayaka (32) has announced her marriage to rapper PUNPEE (36). 

Both Akimoto and PUNPEE made the announcement via Twitter by sharing a "wedding illustration." Akimoto wrote, "Good morning. At this time, I, Akimoto Sayaka, have gotten married on June 20. I will continue to devote myself as before, so please support me." PUNPEE also tweeted, "Thanks a lottttttt!!!!!!!P"

Akimoto and PUNPEE's relationship was first reported by some tabloid magazines in 2018. At that time, Akimoto's agency had commented, "We leave private matters up to her."
