It's been reported that actress Takeuchi Yuko has passed away. She was 40 years old. 

According to NHK and other stations, Takeuchi's body was found at her home in Tokyo in the early hours of September 27. The Metropolitan Police Department is currently investigating the cause of her death. 

In an interview with Model Press, Takeuchi's agency commented, "We are currently confirming the present condition as well as the facts."

Takeuchi was married to actor Nakamura Shido from 2005 to 2008, and they have a son together. She remarried actor Nakabayashi Taiki last February, and just had her second child in January.
