On December 5th, talent agency Grick announced that actress Kinjo Mana passed away on December 1st due to an illness. She was 25 years old. 

In the announcement, Grick stated, "She had been taking a break since last year and doing her best with treatment in order to make a comeback, but that didn't come true. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who cheered on and supported Kinjo Mana until now. Thank you very much." 

On Kinjo, they commented, "Kinjo Mana was awkward, but hard-working. She was honest in everything she did. Please do not forget her smile that continued toward her dreams." 

Kinjo was originally a model in her hometown of Okinawa. In 2015, she starred in dramas like 'Nagoya Yuki Saishu Ressha 2015' and movies like 'Kenji-kun no Haru.' Then in 2016, she starred in the MV for Ketsumeishi's "Saraba Namida" as well as various stage plays, served as the '2nd MyNavi Wedding Girl,' and became an exclusive model for 'non・no.' From March of 2019, she played the role of Tatsui Ui in 'Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger.'
