Dempagumi.inc member Furukawa Mirin has announced that she is pregnant with her first baby.

During a concert in September of 2019, Furukawa announced that she would be getting married to manga artist Aso Shuichi. She is currently four months pregnant and is due to give birth in the summer. 

On her Instagram account, she wrote, "I made my announcement early because I felt bad for making everyone worry as I was absent from lives late last year due to my ill health from pregnancy." She also expressed, "I never thought the day would come when I would be a mom, so I hope to spend everyday while being myself and Dempagumi.inc's Furukawa Mirin." 

Dempagumi.inc is set to hold Naruse Eimi's graduation concerts on February 15 and 16. On participating in these concerts, Furukawa said, "While watching my health, I hope to participate without overdoing myself by decreasing the number of songs I dance to. It appears that I need to exercise to some extent, and it's also a day of new beginnings. I want to do my best to liven things up."
