On January 8th, it was announced that former Nogizaka46 member Saito Yuri (27) has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. 

Saito's agency Nogizaka46 LLC explained on their official website, "She had a fever on the evening of January 4th, then took the PCR test at a medical institution on the 5th, which confirmed that she was positive for the virus."

They continued, "Her symptoms are mild, and her current condition is stable. Under instruction of the health center, she will be recuperating and following up. None of the staff nor other artists have come in close contact with her."
