It's been reported that singer-songwriter Sakamoto Shogo (27) has been diagnosed with COVID-19. 

His agency explained that Sakamoto had been identified as a person of close contact on April 27th, then broke out with a fever on May 1st. After conducting the PCR test, he was confirmed positive on the evening of the 2nd. 

Sakamoto is currently quarantining at home under guidance of the health center. His condition is currently stable.
