It's been announced that Kashiwagi Yuki will be taking a break from her activities to undergo treatment for syringomyelia. 

Kashiwagi recently received a thorough physical examination for the first time in her life for a segment for TV Tokyo's 'Shujii ga Mitsukaru Shinryosho SP.'  As she had suspected symptoms of syringomyelia, she was examined further and was able to detect it at an early stage. To devote herself to surgery and treatment, she will be cancelling her appearance in the 'AKB48 THE AUDISHOW' that was scheduled for June 11 and 12. In addition, her solo concert on July 7 and 8 at Pacifico Yokohama, as well as the release of her upcoming collaboration single with WACK on August 31 have both been postponed. Under the guidance of her doctor, she will continue any work that will not strain her until the day of her surgery.

Kashiwagi will still be releasing her new photo book on her 30th birthday, July 15. On Twitter, she wrote, "First of all, I want to devote myself to treatment in order to appear in front of everyone healthier than ever. It would be reassuring if you could send me a little bit of encouragement from your heart."
