Former ℃-ute member Hagiwara Mai has announced her marriage.

Hagiwara posted a photo of herself onto her Instagram account reporting to her fans that she has gotten married to a man that she had been dating for some time. She expressed, "He supports and protects me with his warm and gentle heart. Not only am I very happy to have met him, but I am full of gratitude." 

Hagiwara made her major debut as a member of ℃-ute in February of 2007. After the group disbanded in June of 2017, she graduated from Hello! Project and retired from showbiz. In 2018, she launched her company With Mii, and has been involved in designing, producing, and selling apparel and other goods.
