Otsuka Ai will digitally release her new song "GO" on her birthday, September 9.

"GO" is described as a positive and powerful guitar pop tune that Otsuka wrote to mark her "restart." She commented, "There were about two years when I couldn't write any songs. I was at my limit doing my usual things. It felt like my heart had died somewhere. Everyday I was just repeating myself, but while slowly moving forward, this song brought me back to songwriting." 

The jacket cover for "GO" features a photo that Otsuka took herself. To commemorate this song's release, a campaign has started on Twitter in which fans can submit photos and videos of their memories during the singer's 18-year career to be used in another MV for "GO." Fans have until August 31 to tweet their favorite photos and videos with the hashtag "#大塚愛GO."
