On December 18, actress Tabe Mikako (32) appeared at a stage greeting for the animated film 'Boss Baby: Family Mission' where she reported the birth of her first child. 

Tabe shared that this year's kanji was "kankyo" (environment). She reflected, "My baby was born this year, so that was the biggest thing. It was probably the biggest thing in my life. My environment changed, and even though I'm still walking down the same path, the world looks different." 

The actress also expressed, "After participating in this 'Boss Baby' last year... I gave birth to my own this year, and now I can't help but to think that all babies are cute. So the babies that appear in the movie are so cute, I can't help it! This was a special year, and being able to participate in this work, I am very happy. I feel I am able to wrap up the best year." 

Tabe married photographer Kumada Takaki in October of 2019. She announced her pregnancy in March of this year.
