On March 27, former ℃-ute member Suzuki Airi updated her blog confirming recent reports that she is in a relationship with soccer player Tanaka Ao. 

Suzuki wrote, "I am sure some of you know from the reports this morning, but I am in a relationship with soccer player Tanaka Ao-san. I am sorry for suddenly surprising you." 

She continued, "This year, 2022, is an important year for both he and I. We will both seriously face the things we have to do at this moment and continue our activities as before. Please watch over us warmly." 

Tanaka also held an online press conference to confirm reports that he and Suzuki are dating.
