Hirano Sho (King & Prince) has been cast in TBS's upcoming drama 'Kurosagi' to premiere this October. 

This drama is based on a manga by Kuromaru and Natsuhara Takeshi that was serialized in 'Shukan Young Sunday' from 2003 to 2013. It was first adapted into a live-action drama series in 2006 starring Yamashita Tomohisa followed by a movie in 2008. 

Hirano will play Kurosaki Koshiro, a young man who becomes a swindler after losing his family to fraud. He only swindles other swindlers under the name 'Kurosagi.' In the upcoming series, he will have direct confrontation with his real enemy who stole his family from him, which was not told in the previous drama series. 

On receiving the offer, Hirano commented, "I was happy and surprised at the same time. I think people have this image of me that I am the one who is deceived, so I am very honored to play the role of a 'swindler who deceives swindlers.' Through this drama, I really hope to deceive you as Kurosagi!"
