Former Morning Musume member Niigaki Risa has announced that she will be resuming her singing career. Her mini album "NIIGAKI RISA1" will be digitally released on September 16. 

Niigaki graduated from Morning Musume back in 2012. Since then, she has been primarily focusing on her acting career. The upcoming mini album will include a total of 4 songs, which were all written, composed, and produced by Kanamori Masaaki, who directed Niigaki's starring drama 'Nibiiro Chocolate Village' (February 2022). 

On the release, Niigaki commented, "I had so much fun recording for the release of my mini album. Once again, I felt so much joy in singing."
