Rock band Dragon Ash vocalist Furuya Kenji (44) and actress MEGUMI (42) have finalized their divorce.

Back in September, 'Shukan Bunshun' published an article about Furuya's alleged affair. At that time, he explained, "It's true that we are no longer living together and will be getting a divorce. We talked about it and made the decision at the beginning of the year. Our son also understands." 

On December 30, both Furuya and MEGUMI posted on Instagram stories saying, "We would like to announce that our divorce has been finalized. As parents of our beloved son that we have raised together, we would like to prioritize our love for him and continue raising him together while having a mutual understanding of each other. We will also continue to do our best in our work."

Furuya and MEGUMI married in July of 2008. They welcomed a son together in January of 2009.
