STARTO ENTERTAINMENT announced on their official website that Ren Nagase, a member of King & Prince, would not be performing at the joint concert "WE ARE! Let's get the party STARTO!!" due to an ear injury. The event was held at Kyocera Dome in Osaka at 6 PM.

Nagase's absence will continue for the May 30 show at the same venue. His fellow group member, Kaito Takahashi, will still be performing as scheduled.

Before the concert, Takahashi had informed fans via the group's official X account that Nagase would be missing the live performance due to health issues.

Here’s the official statement from the company:

“Today, King & Prince’s Ren Nagase will be unable to perform at the 'WE ARE! Let's get the party STARTO!!' concert on May 29 (Wednesday) at 6:00 PM due to an ear injury. We apologize for any concern this may have caused to those who were looking forward to his performance.

Furthermore, we regret to inform you that he will also be absent from the May 30 (Thursday) show at 4:00 PM as a precautionary measure. We apologize once again for any inconvenience and concern.

King & Prince’s Kaito Takahashi will continue to perform at tomorrow’s show. We appreciate your understanding and support.”
