Sakurazaka46 and Hinatazaka46 have both announced new member auditions, set to begin shortly. This marks the first time in about two years that both groups are holding auditions simultaneously.

Sakurazaka46
Sakurazaka46's audition, with the catchphrase "You Bloom", features a teaser video showcasing the group’s forward-moving spirit. The last audition in 2022 resulted in the selection of 11 new members. The new auditions come as Sakurazaka46 expands its international presence, with events in France, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Hinatazaka46
Hinatazaka46’s audition, with the catchphrase "Because I Love It, Because I Love It, Because I Love It", encourages fans passionate about idol activities to apply. The previous 2022 auditions led to the selection of the current fourth-generation members. The new auditions will start accepting applications from August 5th at noon JST.

Both groups' audition schedules will differ, allowing candidates to apply for both.
