Vocal group Kalafina, who disbanded in March of 2019, will be holding a concert titled 'Kalafina Anniversary LIVE 2025' on January 15, 2025. 

Kalafina founder Yuji Kajiura departed from Space Craft Agency in February of 2018, then members Keiko and Hikaru followed in April and October respectively. As such, the group decided to put a halt to their activities, and officially disbanded on March 14, 2019. Since then, members Wakana, Keiko, and Hikaru have each been pursuing their solo activities. 

The music director of the upcoming concert will be Satoshi Takebe. Apparently, Kajiura is not associated with the scheduled concert. In fact, she stated, "Kalafina has distanced themselves from my production, and have decided to move forward as a new Kalafina in a place I don't know. I was looking to weave a path to work on music together with Kalafina again in the future, but that is a future that won't come true anymore. It's very unfortunate, but this is the path that the members have clearly chosen."

She continued, "As you all know, the three are really wonderful singers. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart for the happiness I experienced while making music together with Kalafina, and I pray for their future activities."

Tickets for the upcoming concert will be available on Keiko and Wakana's fan club from October 10, then on Hikaru's X from October 25. Then they will go on sale via PlayGuide from November 9.
