The site apologized for the abrupt cancellation, stating, "We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the event."

The issue stems from the teaser video released on the 16th for their fourth album RAYS. The video was pulled on the 17th due to "inappropriate content," specifically a scene in the "KATANA" video featuring a sword with the name "Yasuji Okamura," a controversial figure who led Japan’s invasion of China. This sparked backlash from Chinese audiences.

MENT RECORDING explained that the production oversight was unintentional and apologized, clarifying that the Snow Man members were not involved in the video’s creation. They promised to take measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
