Ren Meguro of Snow Man has achieved a long-held dream by winning the Best Jeanist 2024 award at the 41st annual event recognizing stars who shine in denim. Sharing the award with model Miyu Ikeda, Meguro expressed his gratitude, saying, “It’s an honor to receive this historic award, known by so many.”
Reflecting on his journey, Meguro shared that before debuting with Snow Man, he wore jeans almost daily, aiming to win this award one day. His denim devotion continued this year, making up about 90% of his outfits, both casually and in music videos. “I think I simply love denim,” he admitted with a smile.

During the event, Meguro humorously turned around to show off his outfit when requested, adding a playful touch. Later, he shared that he first told his pet dog about the win, joking, “We have a mutual understanding.”
When asked about potentially joining past winners like Takuya Kimura and Kazuya Kamenashi in the Best Jeanist Hall of Fame, Meguro said he’d be thrilled if his love for jeans led him there naturally.
Ikeda, who entered the Hall of Fame this year, advised Meguro to “share your denim looks on social media regularly and keep wearing it.” Meguro thanked her with a smile, ready to keep the denim spirit going strong.
