On April 9, SKE48 announced on its official website that Team E member Miyu Nakasaka will resume activities starting April 10, following a three-month hiatus.

According to the statement, Nakasaka had been on hiatus since January 8, 2026. The group commented, "With regard to Team E member Miyu Nakasaka, we would like to announce that she will resume her activities starting tomorrow, April 10, 2026." External activities, including media appearances, events, and advertising work, will be gradually resumed in coordination with sponsors, media outlets, and related parties.

SKE48 had previously announced on January 8 that a staff member assigned as Nakasaka’s manager had engaged in communications that exceeded the scope of their duties. The group stated that some of these interactions could be considered inappropriate or misleading, based on interviews with both the staff member and Nakasaka.

The staff member was subsequently subject to disciplinary action in accordance with company regulations. Following discussions, Nakasaka suspended her activities beginning January 8.
