SixTONES member Hokuto Matsumura has been appointed ambassador for Shizuoka Prefecture's 150th anniversary.

A Shizuoka native, Matsumura has been active in promoting the region, including appearing in a TV commercial for Hamamatsu's amusement park Hamanako Palpal last summer. He was selected as ambassador due to his strong ability to reach a wide audience and share the prefecture's appeal through his work.

As Shizuoka celebrates its 150th anniversary, Matsumura will take part in promotional activities throughout the year.
