Yui Ichikawa announced on June 29 that she has joined Amuse Creative Studio.

Ichikawa shared the announcement on Instagram, saying she is starting this new chapter with a renewed sense of determination.. She also thanked fans for their continued support and expressed her hope to repay them through her work.

Ichikawa left her longtime agency, Ken-On, at the end of May after being represented by them since she was 15 years old.

The actress made her acting debut in the tv drama 'Shibuya-kei Joshi Pro Wrestling' and has since appeared in numerous hit productions, including 'Gokusen,' 'Ju-on,' 'NANA 2,' and the NHK taiga drama 'Gunshi Kanbei.' She is married to actor Shigeyuki Totsugi.
