Bandai unveiled seven new 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED' figures during its "GUNDAM FIGURE SEED PROJECT SPECIAL LIVESTREAM" on July 27, with the newly announced METAL BUILD METEOR generating the biggest buzz.

Supervised by chief mechanical animation director Satoshi Shigeta, the massive display piece measures approximately 860 mm when paired with a compatible mobile suit and extends beyond 1.2 meters with its beam sword effect parts. The figure also features opening panels, rotating engine parts, and other movable details.

Preorders opened through Premium Bandai on July 27 at 9:00 p.m. JST, with the figure priced at ¥88,000 (tax included). Reports indicate that the initial batch of 10,000 units sold out approximately 90 seconds after reservations opened, representing an estimated ¥880 million in preorder sales. The figure is scheduled to ship in February 2027.

Bandai also announced several additional 'Gundam SEED' collectibles, including METAL ROBOT Spirits figures of Z'Gok (SEED FREEDOM Ver.), Cavalier Aifrid, and Destiny Gundam Spec II Final Battle Ver.; an S.H.Figuarts figure of Kira Yamato in his Orb pilot suit; Figuarts mini figures of Shin Asuka, Lunamaria Hawke, and Cagalli Yula Athha; and the launch of the new ABSOLUTE ACT action figure brand, with Strike Freedom Gundam revealed as its first product.

Preorders for other parts of Asia and the United States are scheduled to begin on July 28.
