XG will release their new digital single "DEPENDS" on November 6, marking their first new music in nearly a year.
The announcement comes alongside a major rebranding of XGALX, the label and entertainment brand behind XG. The company briefly removed its website and social media accounts on September 13 before revealing its new direction under the tagline "Genuine Art Lives. Lives Create Culture."
According to XGALX, the company is moving away from its previous philosophy and adopting a more artist-centered structure while retaining the core staff behind the label. Its music, management, and marketing operations will also expand with a greater global focus.
"DEPENDS" explores the uncertainty of moving forward without having all the answers. The song portrays the feelings of still searching and not fully understanding oneself, with the phrase "it depends" reflecting the idea that not everything needs a definite answer.
The single follows XG's debut full album "THE CORE - 核," released earlier this year. The group has also made appearances at several major festivals in 2026, including Capital's Summertime Ball, Fuji Rock Festival, Head In The Clouds Festival in Los Angeles, and Rock In Japan Festival.
XG is currently in the middle of their second world tour, XG WORLD TOUR: THE CORE, with shows across Asia, Europe, Australia, and North America. The tour is scheduled to conclude with performances at Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome Osaka in February 2027.
