Kana Nishino has announced that she is leaving Sony Music Artists (SMA) following the end of her exclusive contract with the agency.
Nishino shared the news on Instagram, expressing her gratitude to SMA, where she had been represented since her debut in 2008. She thanked the agency for supporting her since she was a teenager and for respecting her decisions throughout her career.
Beginning in October, Nishino will continue her activities under a newly established management company. Her official fan club, Nishino-ke, will continue to operate.
She commented, "From now on, I hope to continue being myself and delivering the music and songs I love to everyone. I hope you'll continue to support Kana Nishino."
