Popular NHK drama "Ryomaden" starring Fukuyama Masaharu is heading to Taiwan. The historical drama about Sakamoto Ryoma will air in Taiwan starting in November.

"Ryomaden" will broadcast on channel Videoland, one of the largest cable television stations in Taiwan on weekdays from Monday through Friday. Other than Taiwan, there has been requests from Korea, Thailand and Vietnam to air the drama in their respective countries.
