A press conference on September 28th revealed that popular actor�Ichihara Hayato has taken on a new challenge as a lead actor for the play "Cardigan".
"Cardigan" tells the story of a Yakuza gang member (Ichihara) and a businessman (Nakai Kiichi) who somehow switch their characters after they undergo a blood transfusion.
This is the first time for Ichihara to tackle a leading role, let alone a theater performance.
"Cardigan" will premier on November 1st at PARCO Theater, and will run until tbe 23rd.
