Kuwata Keisuke, of�Southern All Stars fame, underwent surgery in August due to esophageal cancer. Demonstrating his passion for his work, it's just been revealed that he's begun recording once again on his solo album. �Originally, the album was to be released on October 20th, but because he was diagnosed in July, it was inevitably postponed.

On the 16th, Kuwata's manager made an appearance on the radio show, "Kuwata keisuke no Yasashii Yoasobi", and introduced a letter from the artist.

Kuwata's letter said, "My condition is getting better and better everyday, and I have finally restarted recording for the new album on October 8th! �I felt little shy to work with staff members after 2 months, but I was really happy to come back where I should be. �Everything is done by grace of all of you who kept encouraging me. �Thank you very much."

His official comeback and the release date for the new album has not yet been decided.
