Johnny's boy band NEWS, who released their 13th single "Fighting Man" on November 3rd, are building upon their own successful record. The new single debuted at #1 with 67,000 copies sold on the first day, according to Oricon. This is their 13th single to debut at the top spot. All of their singles since their debut in May 2004 with "Kibou ~YELL~" have managed to snatch the top spot, and the new single is no exception.
"Fighting Man" is the group's first single in 8 months, the last one being "Sakura Girl" in March.
