When the rock band first started, they released their first self-titled album, "LUNA SEA" back in 1991. Fast forward to 2010 - the newer generations of J-rock fans, unable to get their hands on the album previously, can now grab a re-recorded version with bonuses!
The re-recorded album is slated for release March 6, 2011. Not only will fans of the old and new school get a better quality CD, but it comes in a box set. The box set will include the CD, as well as a reprint of their second demo tape, "Shade". Released back in 1989, "Shade" included three of six original songs before being signed to Yoshiki's label, Extasy Records. Only a 1,000 copies were made, and all were completely sold out. The boxwill also include some promotional goods from their indie days.
The price for this novelty box is 9,524 ($112.44 USD). If some of you are wondering if it's worth the price, well... if you only knew how much that original demo tape and album costs now, you'll feel certain in getting a really good deal.
