Bassist michiko of the girl band�POP CHOCOLAT will have to exit the group due to her pregnancy.

michiko found out exactly one month ago (November 25th), and she wrote on her blog that she is carrying a child just a day after the band had a live in Shimokitazawa.

Her decision is based on the fact that she cannot guarantee she will return to the band after giving birth. Although there are many female musicians who continue on with their careers after having a baby, given her personality, she felt she would only be a burden to the band.

michiko's last performance with POP CHOCOLAT will be on January 6th at Shinjuku red cloth.
