Ado will perform the theme song for the live-action adaptation of 'Blue Lock,' that's set to open in theaters on August 7.
Based on the manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, 'Blue Lock' follows 300 high school soccer players gathered from across Japan as they compete in a high-stakes training program designed to create the world's greatest striker.
The theme song, titled "Monstro," is a Latin-inspired track with lyrics by supercell's Ryo and music by Giga and TeddyLoid, the same team behind Ado's hit songs "Odo" and "Show."
The title "Monstro," which means "monster" in Spanish, reflects the song's theme of awakening one's inner monster and pushing forward. The track showcases Ado's powerful vocals and rap performance. She commented, "It's a song filled with fiery emotions and driven by a Latin-inspired rhythm."
A trailer featuring "Monstro" has also been released on YouTube.
