SPEED member�Uehara Takako will star in the upcoming movie "Koitani-bashi La Vallee de l'amour" which is scheduled for release sometime this summer. Although she's acted in many other movies, this is the first time for Uehara to be a leading star.

Uehara will portray a young woman who returns from Tokyo to Tottori prefecture after losing her job. She then undertakes the mission of reviving her parents' inn at the Misasa hot springs, and eventually becomes its mistress. The story was based off of "Ame no Naka no Hatsukoi First Love in the Rain", which was the winner of 2008's "The 1st Super Scenario Grand Pix".

Uehara confessed that she felt a lot of pressure, and consequently, became very nervous about playing a leading role in a movie for the first time. However, during the shoot in Tottori, Uehara was warmly welcomed by the local people. She said, "I'm really thankful (to the local people). �Although I only stayed for 3 weeks, Misasa has now become my second hometown."

Other cast members of the film include�Mikami Kensei, Matsuda Miyuki, Ogura Ichiro, Nakazawa Yuko, Takano Hassei, Iwasa Mayuko, Kawaoka Daijiro, Tsuchiya Anna, Katsurayama Shingo, Ishibashi Renji, Yoshiyuki Kazuko, and Matsukata Hiroki.
