After a 19-year hiatus, B.B. Queens will be resuming activities on April 29th and 30th at the 'Arabaki Rock Festival' in Miyazaki prefecture.

Their 1990 debut single "Odoru Ponpocorin" was used as the first ending theme for animated series, 'Chibi Maruko-chan'. The song sold over 1,640,000 copies, ranked #1 on the yearly Oricon Singles Chart, and even took B.B.Queens to the 'Kohaku Uta Gassen'.

But in 1992, the 8 members became too busy with their respective solo activities, and the group decided to go on a hiatus.

Now, four of the original members have reunited to take back the music industry once more. Fans can look forward to seeing�Gendo Fusanosuke (59, vocals/guitar), Tsubakura Yuiko (47, vocals), Masuzaki Takashi (48, guitar) and Utoku Keiko (43, vocals/chorus).

Commenting on B.B. Queens' return, member Gendo said,"I think there are some things that only this group can do, so please look forward to it." Masuzaki cheered,�"Let's aim for Kohaku! No, aim for the Grammys!"
