Pop singer Superfly has just revealed a brand new song titled, "You & Me"!
"You & Me" was written specifically with those affected by the Tohoku earthquake in mind. In the diary corner of her official website, Ochi Shiho - better known by her stage name, Superfly - briefly spoke about the process behind the song, and encouraged people to stand by each other in this time of tragedy.
She wrote:
"At a time like this, please don't forget to smile. Let's be strong and stick with all the people affected by the earthquake. [The song] is one we recorded in a single day which simply uses my voice and a piano, but it's packed full of feeling. If you'd like, please try to express your feelings by singing, so that your feelings and mine will reach [others]."
Fans commented, "I'm so moved," "Even if it's something little, your song has reached the victims of the earthquake," and "When I hear this song, I feel as if we can all overcome this situation."
