AKB48's radio drama "AKB48 no 'Watashitachi no Monogatari'" will be broadcast on NHK-FM and NHK Radio 1 beginning in April.

The show has aired twice in the past as a special program, and is now being made into a regular show. It's a unique and fun idea for both the AKB48 members and their listeners, as the girls will be acting out a radio drama with plots sent in by the listeners.

Moreover, the listeners will also be polled to determine which AKB48 songs will be used for the drama; the selections will be an important component of the show. Votes and plot submissions can be made through the show's official website.

The first episode will be called "The Dangerous Transfer Student", and it features�Oshima Yuko and Sashihara Rino as the leads of the scenario. The episode's story will focus on Sashihara as a dim-witted, yet strong middle school gang leader named 'Basashi', who encounters transfer student Oshima Yuko.�Minegishi Minami, Yokoyama Yui, Takahashi Minami, Kojima Haruna, and Kitahara Rie will play as Sashihara's henchmen, and Yamadera Kouichi will make an appearance as their teacher.

The first broadcast will be on April 1st on NHK-FM starting at 10:00PM, and through NHK Radio 1 on April 3rd at 7:20PM.
